CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR OPENING AND DELIVERY TIMES 

Our Sales team are available on all days across the Christmas period aside from public bank holidays and weekends for all customer services and sales enquiries. Please see the below for our opening and closing times across the festive period should you wish to speak to a Sales Representative.

Please note, our website is open to receive orders 24/7 including Christmas Day and all other Bank Holidays. To avoid delays on deliveries, we advise you place your orders as early as possible and take note of the below changes to our standard delivery schedules.

Changes to Delivery Schedules

To fulfil orders, we use a range of national depots and courier companies and, as a result, are subject to extended lead times across the Christmas period. Please be aware that our next day delivery is not guaranteed during the Christmas period and that you may experience extended lead times on products. We will advise on an estimated delivery date once your order is processed and stock has been allocated to you.

Please contact us before ordering if you need to know an exact delivery date, or need your item(s) in a hurry. A member of our team can check deliveries and stock for your local area to advise you.

Goods dispatched will be delivered subject to your local delivery depots operating hours over the festive period. Over the Christmas period deliveries are subject to courier and postal service operating hours outside of our control.

Normal service will resume on January the 2nd 2018.

Delivery Information

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

TDL deliver to the UK Mainland Only, to regular domestic and commercial premises.

Depending on the product(s) you wish to order, may be able to dispatch to the following areas, but this will be outside of our normal practice:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Channel Islands
  • Isle of Wight
  • Northern Ireland.

Please call us if you live in the above areas to discuss your order before placing.

We currently do not ship outside of the United Kingdom, nor permit collection from overseas courier/collection agencies for overseas shipments.

Expensive appliances we can only ship to registered cardholders address only. This helps to prevent fraudulent purchases and transactions and protects the interests of both ourselves and our customers.

All orders are reviewed upon receipt and inspected by a member of staff.  We reserve the right to cancel & refund orders if they fall outside of this rule.

In special circumstances, we reserve the option to offer an alternate delivery address to customers at our discretion.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

TDL try to keep our delivery rates as simple as possible.  The charge for delivery to mainland UK addresses is as follows:

  • Order Value Under £100 Ex VAT : £5.99 + VAT (£7.19 Inc Vat)
  • Order Value £100 Ex VAT and above : FREE

TDL may not deliver certain goods or there may be additional charges if delivering products to the following areas:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Channel Islands
  • Isle of Wight
  • Northern Ireland

TDL urge any customer from any of the above areas to contact us directly so we can advise and give the best service possible to get your order to you.

HOW QUICK WILL DELIVERY BE?

Most items on our site are kept in stock and if order before 2.30pm will be delivered next working day

We only deliver on working weekdays. We do not deliver on Weekends or Bank Holidays. (If desperate for Saturday Delviery please call and ask and we may be able to help at an extra courier charge)

We try to deliver all orders at the earliest possible opportunity, however the dispatch time can be affected by stock availability and delivery location. In the unlikely event that the delivery time falls outside of this estimated dispatch period, a member of the sales team will contact you with 24 working hours of your order being placed.

Please be aware that delivery lead times are only approximate and we accept no liability with regards to any failed or delayed deliveries. We would advise that you do not schedule an installer until you are in receipt of your goods and they have been checked for any damage or discrepancies.

TDL will not be liable for any costs incurred for late or failed deliveries if goods are not checked before an installer has been arranged.

If you have an urgent requirement, please contact us and we can stock check and determine lead time for your delivery area.

HOW ARE THE GOODS DELIVERED?

The type of delivery is dependent on the product(s) you have purchased.


Small Items (Parcels & Bags)

Smaller items are dispatched via a recorded courier service. All small items will arrive the next working day after dispatch (2 day for Scottish Highlands and Islands). 

This is an all-day delivery slot so your item can be with you anytime up until 6pm. Our courier should Text (if mobile provided) or email with 1 hour time slot. 

We have tracking facilities, and can track your order if for any reason it has not arrived or delayed.

Large Items (Boilers And Appliances)


Larger items such as Boilers, Radiators and Hot Water Cylinders are delivered generally by TNT so please ensure you have adequate space for delivery and where possible, ensure access to your premises (doorways, path, driveway) are clear of any obstructions, our drivers are only insured to deliver to the threshold of a property, it is down to the customer to ensure they are capable of handling goods within their own premises upon receipt.

Please contact us if you have any queries regarding delivery of large appliances to your property.
Heavy and bulky items must be often handled by 2 people and whilst a delivery driver will assist as much as they can during delivery, it is down to the customer to ensure they manoeuvre and store delivered items in a safe manner to avoid accident, injury or damage to the property or product.

Please dispose of any packaging safely and with consideration to the environment.
