After 28th September 2015, every manufacturer of gas appliances will need to comply with these new regulations. Vaillant are no exception and as a result have released a number of new boiler models that are 100% ‘ErP Compliant’. The new ErP boilers have been built to meet specific eco-friendly criteria and have been labelled up in a manner that makes the efficiency of the boiler a lot easier to understand for the consumer.

Customers and installers who choose to purchase (or have existing stock of) the non-ErP boiler models from Vaillant can still have these fitted and these will continue to remain a popular choice until stock is fully exhausted, but as of 28th September Vaillant will no longer be producing the non-ErP boilers.
Vaillant's new models are pretty much identical to the old models (barring the odd changes) and this means that if you shop around you can get a fantastic deal on a non-ErP Vaillant boilers.

The job however ultimately lies with your installer to calculate the efficiency of your system and to complete a document called a ‘fiche’, which will provide the full efficiency figure for the boiler and rest of the system.
